Weddings at Pilgrim Congregational Church
Pilgrim Church is a beautiful, peaceful, historic church...the perfect venue for your wedding of up to 300 guests. The church dates back to 1852, but has both a parking lot and an elevator.
Choose the music that best suits your style: we have both an organ and a piano. Have a best friend that plays? We are happy to have you bring your own musician and/or soloist.
Weddings include up to two preliminary meetings and may include up to two sessions of premarital counseling if requested, as well as a wedding rehearsal and the wedding ceremony.
Couples usually meet with the minister months in advance of the wedding date to begin planning. A deposit of $150 is required to book the date and the remainder of the fees are payable at (or before) the wedding rehearsal.
Non-member fees:
Pilgrim Church: $150
Minister: $500
Musician: Organist or Pianist: $150 (or bring your own--no bench fee* applies)
Custodian: $100
Total: $900 (without musician, $750)
Member fees:
Pilgrim Church: No charge
Minister $200
Musician: Organist or Pianist: $150 (or bring your own for no charge)
Custodian: $50.00
Total: $400.00 (without church musician, $250)
Optional considerations: Holidays are subject to a surcharge. Programs are available.
*Standard protocol dictates that you use the church musician for your wedding, however Pilgrim Church does not require this. Many churches will impose a "bench fee" payable directly to their musician even if you bring in your own musician. This doesn't apply at Pilgrim Church.
We understand that things happen. Your deposit is 100% refundable if the wedding is canceled with more than 30 days notice. Not applicable to holidays.
